Charles J. Walsh “Chuck” is a licensed and board-certified clinician with over 40 years of experience in behavioral health. Throughout his career, Mr. Walsh has held leadership roles across psychiatric clinics, hospital- based programs and community treatment settings. His background includes direct counseling services, managing outpatient and rehabilitation programs, and consulting for multidisciplinary treatment centers.
At Anne Arundel Counseling, Inc., he provides comprehensive outpatient services, including individual, group and family counseling, through federal contracts, state-certified programs, and private referrals. He is highly experienced in substance use and sexual offender assessment and treatment serving federal and state probation offices, courts, private attorneys and community supervision programs. Along with being a sought after clinician he also provides expert/fact witness testimony.
Mr. Walsh holds degrees from the University of San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed specialized graduate study in behavioral health. He is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Se Offender Treatment Provider and an active clinical member of many related professional associations such as the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse and the American Psychotherapy Association.
