
Erin Stephens is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) offering virtual/telehealth therapy in Maryland. She holds certifications in trauma treatment, ADHD, informed sex therapy, and problematic sexual behaviors, and earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Trinity Washington University. With many years of experience, Erin has supported clients throughout a wide range of mental health journeys.
She works with individuals across the lifespan, beginning at age eight, and has extensive experience with individual, group, and family therapy. Her specialties include trauma, ADHD, anxiety, life transitions and re-entry adjustment, addictions, relationship concerns, sexual health and dysfunctions, and issues related to sexual abuse or inappropriate sexual behaviors. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families, tailoring each session to foster meaningful, lasting change.
Erin’s approach is holistic and person-centered, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and assertiveness. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help clients deepen insight and reduce emotional distress. With children and adolescents, she incorporates expressive modalities such as play therapy, art, sand tray, and bibliotherapy.
