Laura Calabrese is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, family, and group therapy and licensed in the MD and DC areas. She loves working with children, teens, and their families. Laura is a certified in the area of trauma treatment with children and adolescents. She believes that everyone should have safe place for healing and growth.
With 18 years of experience working in the mental health field as a child and family therapist and as a graduate of University of Maryland School of Social Work, she is currently serving as a school based mental health provider as well as with a group practice working with a variety of clients. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, self-esteem, and trauma. Laura works from a collaborative, strengths-based approach; assisting and supporting clients to be the best version of themselves.
Laura is also available to provide clinical supervisor for social workers looking to obtain the clinical license.
